DagitabX: Interactive Introduction to the Fundamentals of EEE
The University of the Philippines Engineering Radio Guild, presents DagitabX, an event exclusively assembled to assist students from different high schools in the Philippines to unleash and enhance their abilities in preparation for a promising future in the field of Engineering.
Dagitab, now on its tenth year, is a month long event that aims to help high school students discover the wonder of the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering through the help of lecture series and corresponding laboratory sessions. DagitabX, this year’s Dagitab event, showcases a more interactive four-week workshop in which the best instructors of the field introduce the fundamentals of basic electronic subjects in its pre-organized curriculum and engage students in hands-on exercises in circuits and logic, programming and microcontrollers.
The event will span for a total of four Saturday sessions. Each of the first three sessions will cover lectures specifically on the basics of Electrical, Electronics and Communications and Computer engineering handled by knowledgeable and notable faculty members of the UP Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute. The last Dagitab session will be a culminating activity that challenges and requires students to exploit the skills that they have acquired over the course of the event to successfully achieve tasks.
DagitabX will be held on January 18- February 8 at the EEEI Building, Velasquez St, UPÂ Diliman.
