With the help of partner Chef Kalel Chan, they’ve revamped their menu, and by revamp, I mean came up with a LOT of seriously gratifying and, let’s be honest, SINFUL dishes that will make you glad it’s your cheat day.

Why Scarface? Because it’s literally pork face! With the part usually reserved for sisig, Rue Bourbon serves it out crispy pata style, with sriracha Mang Tomas, cilantro chili vinegar, and pickled onions to boot. Scarface is HUGE, bigger than your BIG ASS beer, and that’s saying something. It’s also already sliced up nicely so it’s easy to dig in and enjoy. Super delicious and, of course, crispy!

Yes, BACON! Nobody can resist bacon, let alone bacon with fries. Unlike most pica-pica, we suggest you eat the Crispy Smoked Bacon Fries with a spoon so you can get all the bacon and pepper gravy goodness that drips at the bottom of this plate. So from the smoked bacon, to the poached egg, and pepper gravy, you get a nice and wide range of flavors. You can pair this with the Four Cheese Pizza, a classic you can’t go wrong with and a blogger favorite.

Of course, drinks are always in order at Rue Bourbon. If you’re into beer, like most of Manila’s population, you can never go wrong with their famous Big Ass Beer Mugs. Now, they have a Beer Barrel, which can serve up to 5 pax. You can get draft or flavored. Aside from the convenience of the keg at your table, it’s just really cool.

If you like cocktails, you can have them in this cute teapot. You can choose from the Midori Sour, Amaretto Sour, or Mai Tai. Our personal favorite is the Amaretto—it is really good compared to most sold in bars we’ve been to. A teapot can serve up to four drinks.
