7. Research and prepare a budget.

There are definitely a lot of places and activities to check out in Puerto Princesa! So it’s important to map out your itinerary depending on what you want to do or where you want to go. Make a list and make sure each item is in order of priority, so you know which you want to spend more time on and which to save for later. Never settle for something that’s ‘okay lang‘; you’re not always traveling, so make the most out of it!

Also, a little wise advice: never forget sunblock, mosquito repellent, and rubber shoes to your essentials. It’s okay to get a tan, but getting burned is another story. When you go to Puerto Princesa attractions, with water surrounding the island and rainforests, mosquitoes can be spotted here and there. So it’s better to be safe than sorry. And for impromtu hikes, rubber shoes will be your bestfriend.

6. Stay at a resort that’s near the activities you want to try.

It’s better to be in an all-access location than to waste so many hours on the road for the days you’ll be staying in Puerto Princesa. Staying at an accessible hotel saves a lot of travel time. Moreover, it would be more comfortable and lesser of a hassle (more time for R&R and other activities)!
