6 exciting restaurants to try in Manila this 2018

Foodies, hear hear!

With the turn of the new year, we created a list of exciting restaurants that you should visit when in Manila this 2018.

Some of these restaurants have recently opened so they are probably on their soft opening while some might open soon. Anyway, bring your huge appetite along as we go down this list of gastronomic adventure.

6. The Alley by Vikings

Opened last December, The Alley by Vikings is an international street-inspired indoor food hall with unique food concepts to choose from.

5. Tsuta Ramen

Opened last December, Tsuta Ramen originated from Sugamo in Tokyo, Japan. It has earned a name for itself as one of the cheapest ramen shops to have a Michelin Star. Now, it has hit the Philippine shores so you don’t have to fly to Japan for a bowl of this truffle-oil-infused ramen.

4. Liao Fan Hawker Chan

The original Liao Fan Hawker Chan in Singapore is one of the cheapest Michelin-starred restaurants around. A brainchild of Chef Chang Hong Meng, Liao Fan Hawker Chan is known for its signature soy sauce chicken. It is set to open in the first quarter of 2018 so watch out for it!

3. Kam’s Roast Goose

Another Michelin-starred restaurant arriving in Manila this year is Kam’s Roast Goose. In Hong Kong, the Kam family name is synonymous with their famous roast goose restaurant. Their resto is owned by the third generation of the family and their goose is known to be as crisp and succulent as ever. Other dishes on the menu include suckling pig, goose neck and head, and goose blood pudding.

2. Pompoms

If you love fries then you better try Pompoms. Their claim to fame, “We make old-school French fries. Fresh errrday. Plain, powdered or sauced.”
