Since its inception as a print guide in 1984, dedicated to highlighting Hong Kong’s premier culinary establishments, Tatler Best has evolved over the past four decades into a definitive authority on dining, nightlife, and hospitality trends in Hong Kong and Macau.
In 2026, the platform debuted its Tatler Best 10 Hotels category for both Hong Kong and Macau, with Lanson Place Causeway Bay proudly earning its place alongside nine other prestigious luxury establishments.
The final selections are determined after a comprehensive, year-long assessment. Nominees are initially put forward by a select inner circle of tastemakers before undergoing a rigorous evaluation process by a specialist panel of industry experts, editors and critics.
Following an extensive 16-month transformation spearheaded by acclaimed French master of luxury, Pierre-Yves Rochon, Lanson Place Causeway Bay reopened in March 2024. The boutique 188-room property serves as a French-inspired sanctuary of quiet luxury right in the heart of the bustling metropolis.
