Pia Wurtzbach’s reign as Miss Universe has ended and the crown has since passed on to Miss France’s Iris Mitteneare, which in a way, closes a significant chapter in the beauty queen’s life!
So what is in store for Pia after Miss Universe? So much, apparently! Even before the crown left her head she had already landed a sweet modelling contract, and was just appointed brand ambassador of the Miss Universe Organization! MUO obviously loves her a lot and Pia will still have some things on her plate, apart from catching up with her family, friends, and her hunky car racer boyfriend Marlon Stockinger.
But now that Queen P is no longer the reigning Miss Universe (she will always be queen in our hearts, though!), does this mean that she would have liberty to take on other, high-profile gigs? Our biggest fantasy is to see Pia strutting the catwalk in a pair of angel wings! And just in case you need further convincing, here are five reasons Pia would make an awesome Victoria’s Secret Model!
5. She’s signed with IMG.
During the finals night of Miss Universe 2016, Pia low-key informed everyone that she’s already inked a deal with New York City-based talent agency IMG. FYI, IMG is top dog of modelling agencies that has supermodel greats and Victoria’s Secret Angels and Models on their roster! Their talents include Stephanie Seymour, Ashley Graham, Bella and Gigi Hadid, Hailey Baldwin, Lily Aldridge, Candice Swanepoel, Martha Hunt among many others! Obviously, Pia is in good hands and it wouldn’t be much of a stretch for her to take on similar gigs.
4. She’s got a rocking physique!

When Pia was competing at Miss Universe 2015, we had a good feeling she had it in the bag when she stepped out on the runway sashaying with beautiful confidence during the swimsuit portion! We already know she can work a swimsuit, thanks to her Instagram photos.
3. She is a pro at the runway and on camera!
Pia completely slayed the catwalk during her time at Miss Universe, and since then, she’s only been getting better. Her looks have been on point in the many editorial covers she’s had, and this clip of her strutting around at a shoot shows that she can clearly work her assets. Pia can flash a radiant smile, and her piercing smize will make Tyra proud. Work it, girl!

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is meant to be fun, with their beautiful models exuding lots of personality while on the catwalk. We already know that Pia is kind of a dork, which makes her even more lovable! P’s got a great sense of humor and her authentic, warm nature shines through, and we’re certain she can walk the runway with tons of spunk. Just watch this video of her sneaking up on her roommate, Miss USA Deshauna Barber, and this video of her spoofing a terror teacher and be prepared to LOL.

And who better to represent Filipino beauty than the one who’s done it before?
