2014 TOURISM XP: Explore, Expose and Experience
The officers of Tourism Event Management Class 2014 (TEMC ’14) of Arellano University School of Hospitality and Tourism Management – Pasig, will be having an event supported by the Department of Tourism entitled 2014 TOURISM XP (EXPLORE, EXPOSE AND EXPERIENCE) on October 1, 2014 from 8am to 5pm at Arellano University – Pasig with the theme: “Exploring Career Opportunities and Challenges in the Tourism Industry”. This activity aims to:
> Explore the students’ different career opportunities in the tourism industry after they graduate.
> Expose the students in different skills competitions
> Allow the students to Experience different activities during the Tourism Exposition
> Create camaraderie among all the delegates
This one day event includes a Seminar discussing Career Opportunities in the Tourism Industry. It also includes different competitions for High School Students like What’s the “Flag”?, Tourism Wizard Live, Regional Cuisine Cooking Contest and Flight AttenDance Competition, Tour Guiding, Destination Branding for College Students and Cultural Fashion Show. We also have booths and exhibits highlighting different food and trade products from the different regions in the Philippines, travel agencies and airlines. We are inviting different Secondary Schools and Tourism Students from different Universities as our delegates for this event.
We will be giving one (1) complementary tickets for high school faculty who will be the coach of the participants.
There will be a registration fee worth Php150.00 for college tourism student that includes seminar kit, certificate, food and souvenir. We will be giving two (2) complementary tickets for faculty for every twenty (20) students who register in the same school.
Registration is until September 25, 2014 only. Competition Guidelines is upon request.
