June 20, 2022 marked a significant milestone in the Voice Acting Industry of the Philippines as the 2nd batch of the Top 20 CVAs (Certified Voice Artists) were recognized in a grand, face-to-face event. Held in Hilton Manila, this prestigious Awards Night by the Certified Voice Artists of the Philippines was conducted in partnership with and sponsored by Tag Media Group, organized by Engr. Grace Bondad-Nicolas.

The Certified Voice Artist Program or commonly known as CVAP is the first purely digital voice acting workshop in the Philippines that promotes voice acting as an art, pursued through passion and purpose. The CVAP Awards Night honored 20 new highly commendable CVAs from batches 1-10 of the Certified Voice Artist Program who have shown loyalty, commitment, and dedication to the art of voice acting. CVAP’s first batch of Top 20s was recognized online, via Zoom, in June 2021.
Notable events of the night include Danny “Ama” Mandia’s speech, containing his personal insights on the local voice artist industry as The Father of Modern Filipino Dubbing. He has also expressed his gratitude to CVAP’s creator, Pocholo “The Voicemaster” Gonzales, for paving the way for the new generation of voice artists, excelling both in the digital and physical space, driven by the desire to share their voices to spark positive social change.
