Scarlet Fever Outbreak reported in HK

When in Manila, you might want to think twice if you’re planning to treat your kid to a Hongkong vacation . Health authorities reported that there have been more than 400 cases of scarlet fever detected among children for the past six months. What’s worse is that in 2011 alone, two children have already died from the said disease. At present, scientists are looking into the possibility that a newer and more powerful strain of the virus has emerged.
