Sandaya Yakiniku: Light Up the Grill and Enjoy a Different Japanese Foodie Experience

Irishaismase!

This is their bright, cheerful greeting to their guests, complemented with flashes of their big smiles and 90-degree bows that’ll make you feel like you’re really stepping inside a restaurant in Japan. On their grand opening day last November 30, Sandaya Yakiniku was as lively as the sound of sizzling meat, clanking utensils and happy conversations of the people inside the restaurant.

Another addition to the roster of great dining places in Fishermall at Quezon City, Japanese foodies of all ages will definitely find something that will satiate their grumbling stomachs at Sandaya Yakiniku.

“Great stories begin when you light up the grill.” This is the #SandayaPromise, and during our stay at this cozy and warm dining spot, where the smell of great-tasting Japanese fare filled the air, it was shown and proven. Whether you’re out to celebrate a special occasion or just want to feast with the best people in your life, Sandaya Yakiniku will not disappoint.

It all started with how all Japanese meals are supposed to begin..

Sandaya Yakiniku

Japanese-Style Beef Stew (Php120)

For our appetizer, we warmed our tummies with their Japanese-Style Beef Stew. Its flavorful broth hits home and is perfect for the cold December weather. One bowl is even big enough for sharing! Since they have super generous portions of beef strips on this soup, the entirety can also work as a good meal in itself. Of course, we couldn’t pass up on the other goodies Sandaya Yakiniku had in store for us!

Salmon Sashimi (Php280)

Shrimp Tempura (Php350)

Up next were their Salmon Sashimi and Shrimp Tempura. The sashimi will melt in your mouth, while the shrimp tempura is sweet. The shrimp’s freshness is locked in and is really good when partnered with their special sauce.
