You might have heard in the past about McDonald’s “Secret Menu”, but let’s admit it—no matter how curious you’ve been, some of you may have always been shy to actually walk up to the counter and order from the crew.
Well, friends, here’s a way you can easily order from the Secret Menu, and the glorious burgers on it. Plus, we got word that there are two new burgers on the menu:Â The BCB (Beef Chicken Beef) and Double Big Mac!
Nostalgic, right? McDonald’s McKinley West in Fort Bonifacio brings back the classic McDonald’s look
with the neon-lit yellow arches we all know and love.
Last October 10, 2018, McDonald’s PH launched NXTGEN at their McKinley West branch. NXTGEN is a concept that’s rolling out to their stores in the country throughout the next few years. These NXTGEN stores aim to elevate the McDonald’s dining experience with modern interiors, a more seamless order and claiming system, and lastly, with bringing something new to the fast food game—self-ordering kiosks. Ordering your favorite meals at McDonald’s will now be easier and more convenient.
The self-ordering kiosks in McDonald’s McKinley West
The self-ordering kiosks feature a touch screen menu where you can choose and customize select McDonald’s favorites. You can choose whether you want to dine in or take out and pay using either cash or card. And because you’re the one who inputs your own order, it’s sure to be accurate.
You can pay your order with Visa or Mastercard with just one tap of your card.
Aaaaand, here’s the best part: aside from getting to order from their usual menu, what’s great about these kiosks is that the Secret Menu is accessible through it! On the left bar on the screen, you’ll see the button with the padlock icon on it that says “Secret Menu”. That’s it. That’s the key to the happiness you are looking for. Once you click on it, you’ll be able to see the much-elusive secret menu you’ve been hearing about.
What’s in it, you ask? In the Secret Menu you can find the Triple Cheeseburger, Double McChicken, Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese, plus the two new exciting burgers—The BCB (Beef Chicken Beef) and Double Big Mac!

When you’re done ordering, just click pay on the kiosk and choose to whether pay with cash or card. The kiosk will then print out your receipt and queue number and all you have to do then is wait for your number to appear on the digital board above the claim counter.
McDonald’s NXTGEN McKinley West also gives us a peek into how the new NXTGEN stores will look. Aside from the modern interiors, the new stores will have digitalized menu boards and a new counter setup for a more seamless ordering experience. Instead of having one long counter like before, there will be two counters now: for ordering and for claiming. By streamlining the process, customers will be able to order and pay in one go, allowing them a more convenient experience.
We can’t wait to go back to McDonald’s and try every burger on their Secret Menu!
