Soon-to-be-wed celebrity Paul Jake Castillo, fiance of actress Kaye Abad and former Pinoy Big Brother housemate, scored his first ever podium finish in a triathlon during the recently finished 2016 Tri United 3 in Subic, Olongapo.

Former PBB housemate Paul Jake Castillo won his first triathlon trophy at the 2016 Tri United 3
Paul Jake finished first, with a total time of 3:11:42 in his age category (30-34 years old), in the Tri King distance of 1Km Swim/60Km Bike/10Km Run. It was actually a back-to-back win for him since his team Rider Omega Pro Tri Team also bagged the overall champion title in the team division of the 2016 Tri United 3.
A number of his teammates also had podium finishes.

He took to Instagram and Twitter to announce his first podium finish, with a shout-out to his “love,” Kaye. He tweeted that he was not expecting the win. When asked if his fiancee will soon try doing tri with him, Paul Jake said that Kaye bikes and runs with him when he trains. He has been joining tri races for four years already and his pre-wedding race will be in Bohol in November. He is set to wed Kaye in Cebu in December.
