When we, at When In Manila, had a chance to try the Cali Kani we didn’t know what we we’re in for. By the time we took our first bite, the pizza was bursting with flavor which immediately sparked the familiar taste of the California Maki but nonetheless, the same unmistakable goodness of the Shakey’s pizza.

The pizza is packed with tons of toppings that eating it was much like sushi—you had to eat it as fast as you can in one go so the contents wouldn’t fall apart and so you could taste every bit of the sushi. Nevertheless, Shakey’s Cali Kani makes the perfect treat whether you’re snacking on a rainy day whilst watching your fave tv series at home or for eating out with your barkada. Shakey’s Cali Kani is sure to delight you with it’s interesting spin-off of the classic fusion California Maki we’ve all come to know and love.
