KFC Krushers Cool Down: Krush The Heat, Metro Manila!
The KFC Krushers Cool Down Event at Eastwood Mall drew a crowd as the heat gave us an exciting treat!
When in Manila, the day only gets better and better as the ice melts!

This then-10-foot ice installment surrounding a 12-foot giant Krushers stirred up quite a buzz at Eastwood Mall, Libis, Quezon City.

As the wall of ice melted, it unveiled not only a larger-than-life cup of our favorite go-to cool down beverage, but also free coupons to a cup of any of the new flavors of KFC Krushers!

The KFC Krushers Cool Down Event
Kirstie Inocencio, Marketing Officer of KFC Philippines (left), shared how it takes almost half a year of brainstorming and production to concoct what would turn out to be our choice for a cool down staple: KFC Krushers!
A peek into the wall of ice shows coupons to a free Pinoy-style KFC Krushers waiting to be snagged by anybody wanting to “krush” the heat!
These new flavors are inspired by our favorite Pinoy cold desserts: Buko Pandan, Halo-Halo and Strawberry Mango.

We caught up with the team behind this event, Kirstie and Dustin, who shared that although this KFC  Krushers Cool Down event in Eastwood only lasted only until June 1st, folks here in Manila will still be able to enjoy their favorite local flavors through KFC Krushers until the end of June.

Now, this is definitely something great to accompany us with this month’s bipolar weather! Â We just can’t wait to try all three!
The team that made this event possible, KFC Philippines Marketing Officer Kirstie Inocencio (left) and KFC Philippines Category Manager Dustin Ngo (right), candidly shared that the wall of ice was originally tall enough to cover the entire KFC Krushers installment and quickly melted three-fourths way come lunchtime. It’s just a reminder that summer hasn’t left! Thank you, Dustin, Kirstie and KFC Philippines, for this much needed cool down!
So, how does these new KFC Krushers fair and compare to its origins?Â

It casts that all too familiar cold spell that Halo-Halo, Buko Pandan Salad and a Strawberry Mango Shake makes— right down to the bits! Â
The heat is still on, but with KFC Krushers we’re ready! After a short wait, the ice melts to a level where we could get ourselves free Krushers!
Mission: “Krush” the heat: ACCOMPLISHED! Leo with his Halo-Halo Krusher, Diane with her Buko Pandan Krusher and a Strawberry Mango Krusher for me. Ahhhh… finally!
From the bits of macapuno to the helpings of leche flan in the KFC Krushers Halo-Halo to the pandan flavor to the gulaman bits of the KFC Krushers Buko Pandan and to the mango bits in a strawberry slushy of the KFC Krushers Strawberry Mango; KFC Philippines has definitely concocted a mix that Pinoys will enjoy just as much as we enjoy the traditional desserts they are inspired from.Â
