4 Underrated Restos That You Ought to Try in Eastwood City

Eastwood City has always been one of my favorite go to places whenever I feel like rewarding myself with a good meal. I actually have my personal list of favorite restos and I really thought I’ve already visited every single resto in that area…. but I was wrong. Recently, I got to discover 4 equally great places which I personally think are underrated…. So this week, allow me to share with you my most recent food trip in Eastwood, featuring 4 underrated restos you ought to try.

Kamicos

Located at the 3rd floor of Eastwood City Walk 2 is this gem, awaiting to be discovered. They serve very affordable Mexican grubs ideal for groups and individuals who wish to satisfy their taco cravings.

Here’s what to try:

If you love burritos, then this one’s a MUST TRY as well

Sancho Churreria Manila

Hankering for some good old classic Spanish churros? In case you didn’t know, the popular churros place in Maginhawa is actually here in Eastwood. Visit them at the Cinema area of Eastwood City Walk  and spoil yourself with all the churros that you want! Their area is also an ideal “tambay” place, if you’re looking for a quiet place to read or work on your emails etc.

Big D’s Smokehouse

If you’re a food lover and haven’t been to Big D’s in Eastwood, then you’re seriously missing out! Craving for really good ribs and smoked meat?  Big D’s never disappoints!

Take a look at this baby….

If you’re dining with friends and would like to enjoy all the good meats they offer, I recommend you try their Smokehouse Platter  with baby back  ribs, soft bone ribs pulled pork, smoked bacon, smoked beef brisket, cajun fries, smoked links, corn on the cob, plus special sauces for only P2,498! I believe this one can feed around 4-5 pax! Sulit no?

Oh, and if you love tacos, check out their 9 inch Monster Taco. The biggest in this side of the metro…. the ultimate taco that will end all taco cravings!

While dining, I couldn’t help but wonder why people usually fail to see this place. I figured, perhaps because it doesn’t look striking from the outside, compared with its neighbours with big brightly coloured signages? Hmmmm just guessing. But I swear… this place is a MUST for every meat lover!

Liberty Asian Refuge + Bar

This popular drinking joint at Eastwood City Walk has definitely a whole lot more to offer. Aside from their irresistibly to-die-for grilled skewers, I also recommend their rice meals especially for lunch goers. And their baos… oh my, you should try them too!
