Ziba Nail Spa

The pampering begins the moment you get comfortable on their soft fuchsia chairs. Choose between an array of services to make your hands and feet look and feel lovely: manicures, pedicures, hand spas, foot spas, or even combinations of your choice. You can even choose between traditional nail polish or the more durable gel variant that will give your nails a special pop of color.

What I love most about Ziba is their strict standards for cleanliness and quality service. Before even starting, they sterilize all of their tools. That was very, very reassuring.

Aside from their nail services, Ziba Wellness also offers waxing services, eyebrow threading, eyelash perms, and eyelash extensions for the fashionista! While all of their services are affordable, I would recommend their two bestselling packages to get the most out of your money. The first one includes eyebrow threading, eyelash extensions and a manicure and pedicure with nail polish—all for a mere P499!

Another great package is their eyebrow threading, underarm waxing, and manicure and pedicure with gel nail polish for P699. I would recommend getting this deal because unlike the traditional nail polish, gel nail polish can last up to a month!

Ziba Coffee

Our last stop to a wonderful Ziba experience: their café! Here are the dishes and drinks that we tried during our visit:

Creamy Caramel Latte (P145)

One of Ziba’s bestsellers is their delicious coffee. The secret? Medium dark roast coffee beans from Italy.

You get smooth, full-bodied coffee flavors that’s tempered down with the addition of milk and your choice of flavor. We tried out their Creamy Caramel Latte and a secret menu item: Berry Mocha. I recommend the berry variant because it’s something unique. Their Caramel, on the other hand, has more pronounced coffee flavors. You can also avail of Buy-One-Take-One coffee-based drinks during your visit!

Chicken Pasta Alfredo (P225) and Monte Cristo (P145)

Pasta and sandwiches get sold out the quickest at Ziba’s Café. Thankfully, we were still able to try out two of their bestsellers: Chicken Pasta Alfredo and their Monte Cristo sandwich. The pasta features al dente fettucine noodles with bites of chicken mixed in a creamy white sauce. Four pieces of toast—with a rosemary rub that gives it earthy flavors—flank the sides of this dish.

On the other hand, the Monte Cristo features a bread pocket with ham and melted cheese inside. The twist? The toast is first dipped in egg and cooked, just like French toast. Not only that—their version of the Monte Cristo comes with a creamy aioli that you pour over it. The sauce gives it a garlicky taste that melds together with the saltiness of the ham and the sharp cheddar flavor.

Chicken Bojari (P220)

If you’re looking for stronger, spiced flavors, the Chicken Bojari is your best bet. Taking inspiration from Indonesian cuisine, the rice is cooked in turmeric to give it that bright yellow hue and curry-like taste. Their chicken is cooked with a special blend of spices to mimic the same flavors as the rice, but subtler. Chunks of beef surround the bed of golden rice, each bite filled with rich flavors, but more pronounced compared to the chicken, and made slightly spicy, too.

Affordable is the buzzword for all of Ziba Wellness Center’s services. Ziba is your sanctuary in the concrete jungle and each visit leaves you feeling happier, healthier, and more beautiful than ever.
