Filipino YouTube content creator, Emman Nimedez, has died after a battle with cancer.
Emman had passed away at 1 AM on Sunday, August 16, at the St. Luke’s Medical Center – Quezon City surrounded by his family, according to his girlfriend Peachy Santos. He had been brought to the ICU a few days prior due to kidney failure and blood complications.
It was back in May when Emman revealed that he had been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, which is a type of blood cancer. In a vlog last June, he shared with fans that he had already finished his first cycle of chemotherapy and was believed to be on his road to recovery.
Emman launched his vlog in 2011 and subsequently rose to fame due to his parody videos of K-Drama shows. He garnered 2.2 million subscribers at the time of his passing.
