Yassi Pressman revealed that she was recognized as the TV Supporting Actress of the Year by the GMMSF Box Office Entertainment Awards. She wrote a thank you message on Instagram, and the one that touched us the most was her dedication of the award to her late father.
The award was for her role as Kapitana Alyana R. Arevalo-Dalisay in Ang Probinsyano.
On Instagram, Pressman said, “Close your mind, heart, and soul to the things that pull you down, open your eyes and see how blessed you are. I want to say thank you to every single person who has been a pillar in my life. People who didn’t doubt me but instead said ‘Kaya mo yan.’ Mahal ko po kayo.”
She added, “In August I celebrated my 4th year on our show, and this is also my 4th annual acting award because of it ?❤️?? thank you GMMSF’s 51st Box Office Entertainment Awards for another recognition.”
Pressman went on to thank the people around her. “Salamat po sa opportunity na patuloy niyo pong binibigay sa akin. At salamat sa inpirasyon para patuloy kong paghirapan ang aking trabaho. We are blessed to even be working in these times, and I will forever be grateful. Salamat po sa mga Pamilya ko, VIVA, Dreamscape, ABSCBN, at Ang Probinsyano. ❤️ My Bosses, Friends, and Supporters. Thank you. I love you guys.”
She had a simple message for her father: “Another one for you, Dad. ??”
Her father, Ronnie Pressman, passed away this February. He was 90 years old.

On Instagram, Yassi’s sister Issa said, “If you met my father, I bet he made you smile or laugh once if not more. He was charming, always smiling, and had a great sense of humor. He always saw the brighter side of things, no matter the situation. No wonder why you lived such a great and long life, you were always so positive. You were a happy ball energy Papa.”
