Yamaha Motor Philippines Challenged Cebu to “Play Your Tough” at Mio Gear Playground

Yamaha Motor Philippines brought the Mio Gear Playground to Cebu last June 17-18, 2023 to challenge Filipinos to show their strength through sports. With the concept of “Play Your Tough,” the Mio Gear Playground was built at the SM City Cebu Northwing, with a Spartan obstacle course, a basketball court, and an esports battle-ready setup.

Yamaha Motor Philippines also invited icons to have a special exhibition game at each section of the playground. At the basketball court, the former Gilas Pilipinas players Kevin Alas, Paul Lee, and Jayson Castro as well as Coach Mavs and his TEAM PHENO players wowed the crowd with different basketball drills and shootout challenges. Meanwhile, the Spartan Philippines Team represented by United VisMin OCR Community held a tournament among their athletes and with Miss Cebu Province Emmanuelle Vera. Local (LV Dragons) and national (Crimson Esports) Mobile Legends players then got to battle each other in a thrilling e-sports show match.

Outside of these exhibition games, the entire Mio Gear Playground was open to everyone who wanted to show off their toughness and take on all the challenges throughout the weekend.

Yamaha Motor Philippines also put on display its Mio Gear motorbikes which perfectly complement the adrenaline-filled lifestyle. Attendees got to see its four different color variants: Worn Gray and Matte Gray for the standard version, and Matte Black and Matte Brown for the S version. These hues emit the simplicity of being tough on your own combined with the motorcycle’s multifunctional features, scratch protection advantage, and agile handling.

Yamaha Motor Philippines is dedicating its newest campaign to be within the reach of every passionate rider in the Philippines – those who are eager to play tough and willing to stay above the challenges. #PlayYourTough
