Social media personality Xander Ford, formerly known as Marlou Arizala, came out to the public as bisexual via Instagram on Friday.
He made the announcement through an Instagram story containing a rainbow emoji and saying: “I am part of LGBTQ #bisexual.”

Ford followed up the story with a clip of him singing Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling In Love. It was captioned: “Thank you tanggap n’yo ako.” [Thank you for accepting me]
He also posted on his Instagram feed a similar photo as his story with the text: “Being one of them is not a crime #bahaghari.”

Ford’s Instagram bio now includes the proud proclamation of his bisexual identity next to a rainbow emoji.
He’d previously spoken up for the LGBTQ+ last February when he shared a photo of himself in a woman’s wig with the caption: “Walang masama sa pagiging Bakla Ang masama Ang mga utak ng tao na kahit dimoinaano madaming panlalait ang masasabi sayo.”
[There is nothing wrong with being gay. What is wrong are the people who insult you when you’ve done nothing to them.]
Ford is a former member of the boy group, Hasht5.
