The 4th of July will always be America’s popular holiday. It is a day that honors freedom and the people who fought for it. This time, though, 4th of July will get a new definition as it will become a historical date not just for the Americans, but for the whole human race as we take war against the aliens.
Directed by Roland Emmerich, “Independence Day: Resurgence” is the sequel to the 1996 movie “Independence Day“. It will be released by 20th Century Fox and stars Jeff Goldblum as the scientist and director of Earth Space Defense David Levinson, Liam Hemsworth as U.S. Pilot Jake Morrison and Bill Pullman as former President Thomas J. Whitmore. Other cast members include Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe, Sela Ward, Judd Hirsch, Vivica A. Fox, Brent Spiner, Angelababy and Charlotte Gainsbourg.
This film about human versus aliens is set twenty years after the first movie and tells about the Earth Space Defense created by the United Nations as Earth’s defense program with satellite forces across the universe.
