The Royal Rumble has been a pivotal part of a WWE professional wrestler. Athletes such as The Immortal Hulk Hogan, Mr. Wrestlemania himself Shawn Michaels, the great one Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and many others that have been immortalized thanks to this event.
For those who don’t know, the Royal Rumble is a Battle Royal (not related to the book) type of match in which participants enter at timed intervals with the aim to eliminate their competitors by tossing them over the top rope with both feet touching the floor. All 30 of them! The winner automatically gets to go to the main event—the biggest stage of them all, WRESTLEMANIA!
2017 is fresh start for all of us, and in the WWE Universe, the road to Wrestlemania starts at the Royal Rumble—January 28th 2017 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Check your local listings or call your cable operator to catch the big event!

Announcing that he will be in the Royal Rumble, The Beast Incarnate is back with a vengeance! After losing his match against Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, along with his advocate Paul Heyman, looks to conquer the WWE once more.
GOLDBERG
After Bill Goldberg’s successful return to the WWE SummerSlam, he says that he still got something left in his tank! I hope Goldberg has enough spears and jackhammers for everyone in the match!
THE UNDERTAKER
If this doesn’t excite you as a WWE fan, I don’t know what will! The Undertaker announced his entry in the match—definitely a game changer for the WWE Universe once they get the Deadman back in the ring for a chance to highlight Wrestlemania.
The Undertaker has a message to the 29 other competitors, and I quote, “My journey continues…I’ve dug 29 holes for 29 souls. And I will be bringing THE DARKSIDE to the Royal Rumble match!”
The Beast, The Icon, and The Phenom—three individuals I would love to see win and charge their way to Wrestlemania.
Names like Baron Corbin, Braun Strowman, Chris Jericho, The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and Seth Rollins have made their announcements as well. Still waiting for more superstars to announce their entry. Excited to see this Rumble match!
