Blake’s Wings & Steaks first opened its doors in Marikina City in 2014. What started as a friendly neighborhood spot quickly grew into a household name, spreading across the metro and beyond with more than 10 branches today.

Marikina has always been known for good eats, but Blake’s has managed to stand out and stay strong for over a decade.
We came back in 2025 to see why they’re still worth a visit—and three dishes made it clear: the Nachos, Signature Pork Ribs, and Bird’s Eye Carbonara.
Nachos that don’t mess around

As appetizers go, Blake’s Nachos don’t “start” the meal—they practically headline it.
The serving is massive, with layers of crisp nachos piled high and loaded with cheese, ground beef, and toppings. It’s crunchy, cheesy, and satisfying enough to stand on its own as a main dish.
If this were the only thing on the table, we’d still call the meal a win.
Ribs worth getting your hands messy for

The Signature Ribs were so soft that I had to ditch the fork and use my hands—and good thing Blake’s hands out plastic gloves for the full experience.
Saucy, savory, and fall-off-the-bone tender, every bite went down smooth without much effort.
It was also heavy (in the best way possible). One of my friends, who’s a big eater, was already full after one slab.
Carbonara with a kick

The Bird’s Eye Carbonara turned out to be the surprise favorite at the table. My daughter, who’s usually a picky eater, loved how creamy and comforting it was.
It’s rich without being overwhelming. The pasta makes you want to go back for seconds. I did.
The cravings don’t stop here
Ten years on, Blake’s proves that some comfort food classics never fade.
From massive nacho servings to saucy, fall-off-the-bone ribs and a carbonara even picky eaters will love, it’s the kind of place that leaves you full and satisfied in all the right ways.
We didn’t even get to try their famous wings this time, as the ribs and pasta already had us waving the white flag.
But that means we’ve got a solid reason to come back. Next on our Blake’s list? The Sriracha Calamari Bites, Garlic Parmesan Wicked Wings, and Truffle Cream Pasta.
