WATCH: Video Shows What Happens When Drug Abusers Surrender

As the Philippines continuously run its campaign against illegal drug use, over 700,000 drug abusers already surrendered themselves to the national authorities.

But, what really happens when they surrender?

Here’s a glimpse of what these people go through after voluntarily submitting themselves for rehabilitation.

This video shows us how former drug abusers try to get clean inside government-owned rehabilitation facilities. Their daily routine includes exercise, prayer, bible studies, and labor wherein they build coffins for less fortunate families who couldn’t afford funeral services.

This is part of the government’s program to help them become functioning members of the society again.
