What if emojis had feelings? Or are actual living things who can complain about the management, their living conditions, or *gulp* the way we use them? Well, thanks to The Emoji Movie, we’re finding that out.

According to the film’s synopsis, “the film will center on Gene, a multi-expressional emoji who sets out on a journey to become a normal emoji.” Uhm, okay? But, let’s face it. We’re probably gonna watch this movie not for the mind-blowing plot, but for the laughs that we’re hoping there’ll be plenty of. After all, the voices featured in the film will be of some funny actors in Hollywood: TJ Miller, Anna Faris, James Corden, Patrick Stewart, Maya Rudolph, and Sofia Vergara.
