Renaissance: The Avengers Endgame Blocked Screening is the first ever MCU fan gathering that is put together and organized by Filipino Marvel teams on social media, Marvel PHL on twitter who are the main organizers partnered with Marvel Philippines, The Marvel Hub PH, Chris Evans Philippines and in coordination with Liam Payne Philippines. Media partners are WHENINMANILA.COM and 95.9 Green FM, the official radio of DLSU-Dasmariñas. The big event is set on April 28, 2019 at the Robinson’s Place Manila Cinema 2 with the program starting at 1:30PM.
“Watch the biggest Marvel movie with the biggest Marvel fans” is their goal. With the country not being the top destination choice for official movie premieres, the event’s goal is to make the Filipino fans feel that they are attending a Marvel premiere like no other. There may be no celebrities in the building but there would be the biggest Marvel fans watching with you. Get ready to cheer, laugh, and cry with 295 people in the same room showing overflowing love for characters that the fans have loved for more than 10 years.
The event title “Renaissance” has meanings very dear to the organizers and the fans. It is a representation of the new phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a representation of the old characters about to bid their goodbyes and the new characters about to begin their journey. Aside from that, it also represents the fresh start for the Filipino MCU fans as this would only be the first of many events that the organizers are planning to put together, all for the fellow fans.
