WATCH: Sta. Ana Hospital Staff Cheer for Patient Who Recovered from COVID-19

After a hospital in Laguna went viral for their video giving an elderly patient who recovered from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) disease a warm round of applause, another hospital in Manila has done the same thing, and it’s likewise melting our hearts.

Doctors and medical staffers of Sta. Ana Hospital gave a recovered patient a cheerful send-off as he was wheeled across the hallway. “Good health. God bless you,” they chanted. The patient, in good spirits, even took a selfie with the chanting staffers.

The video was posted on the official Facebook page of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno. “A message of hope: Sta. Ana Hospital sends off one of its COVID-19 patients who finally turned negative,” he wrote.

As of writing, there are a total of 50 recovered patients out of the 2,311 confirmed cases in the Philippines.
