The 20-year-old singer, Rebecca Black, who gained internet fame when her debut song “Friday” became an infamous hit, is taking on Miley Cyrus this time around.
“Friday” went viral in 2011, back when she was only 14 years old, but not exactly for the best reasons. Some critics have dubbed it as one of the worst songs ever made, and though the review sounds a bit too harsh, it’s also a quite hard to argue against.
Black is on the road to redemption, though. She’s recently released two new singles, coupled with music videos shedding the teenage image. And let’s face it, the girl can sing.
