WATCH: Rami Malek Plays Freddie Mercury in the Upcoming Queen Movie ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’

We loved the first teaser for the upcoming Queen biopic movie ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ starring Rami Malek, but the official trailer is even better.

In case you haven’t heard of the upcoming movie yet, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ is the story of how Freddie Mercury and his fellow band members Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon formed Queen, one of the most iconic rock groups of all time. The film follows Queen as they produce hit after hit, topping the charts while constantly evolving their sound. Through disparate songs like Killer Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody, We Are the Champions, We Will Rock You and countless others, the band reaches unparalleled success and Freddie becomes one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet.

In the new trailer, we finally get to see a bit of Rami Malek displaying Freddie Mercury’s bisexuality and glamour, and we must say: he suits the role really well. We also get a better glimpse of how some of Queen’s legendary songs came to life, including ‘We are the Champions’ and, of course, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ itself. Watch the newest trailer here:

Although the movie has gone through a lot of problems, what with Bryan Singer being fired as the original director and Sacha Baron Cohen leaving the main role, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ currently looks very promising. In fact, we’re very excited to see Rami Malek take on the role of Freddie Mercury in Sacha’s stead. The music and the costumes in themselves are sure to be well worth the watch!

‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ is set to show in Philippine cinemas nationwide this November 7, 2018, from 20th Century Fox.
