‘Miss Saigon’ is one of the first musicals I truly fell in love with. My Tita Joanna Ampil played Kim in the West End in the early 90s and I still remember how I’d lie in bed just listening to it over and over in my Discman (remember those?) while singing my lungs out.
As such, knowing that I will be able to watch and own the 25th anniversary performance without having to actually go to the London is an absolute dream come true.
It doesn’t help my excitement that the trailer is sending shivers up and down my spine like crazy. If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, check it out now:

According to the ‘Miss Saigon – Musical’ Facebook page, there will be screenings of this worldwide. While no exact locations have been confirmed yet, you can register your interest at misssaigon25th.com as early as now to get the news when it is announced. It will eventually also be released on DVD and Blu-Ray.
I absolutely cannot wait!!!
