WATCH: KFC Released AI-Generated Short Films Based on Story Suggestions From Fans!

KFC Philippines has released its first-ever AI-generated films, based on story suggestions of its fans! So adorable!

Released for the first time this week, the short movies serve as a response to KFC’s understanding of that innate desire to create something–giving its fans an avenue to play creators alongside KFC’s Creative Team using AI-technology tools.

So how exactly did this video project come about?

Days before the official release, KFC asked its fans through their socials what they craved to see in the films–from their ideal characters, what they wished for them to eat, and even the genre the movie would fall under.

Turns out, KFC fans crave more than fried chicken—and poll responses were funny, witty, creative, and overall amazing!

Responses include ideal characters–from famous characters down to ordinary folks, ideal film genres (romance was a popular choice), and of course what favorite KFC meals they wish to see the film leads munching on.

From these poll responses, the KFC Creative Team selected popular choices and elements and used AI tools to come up with three films that harnessed the creative ideas coming from the people of the Internet.
