Can you imagine living a life of isolation? Stuck inside the confines of your home, not even knowing how natural air feels in one’s lungs?

That is the life of 18-year-old girl Maddy, played by Amandla Stenberg (Hunger Games’ Rue), who has a rare illness. She grew up in such a sheltered lifestyle, quite literally, as she is allergic to everything. But one day new neighbors move in, and through the windows of their bedrooms she meets Olly, now the boy next door.

Through secret conversations and glimpses on their bedroom windows, the two fall in love, and despite the massive obstacles between them, together they take the jump.

Everything Everything is film adaptation from the young adult novel written by Nicola Yoon. The film will hit theaters on May 2017.
