If you have, it’s mainly because of Coca-Cola Philippines and BGC’s partnership for them. The initiative brings sustainability to life by installing Coke Bins and Benches in 20 locations across the city, encouraging responsible recycling and environmental action.
Both installations, which are proudly made from recycled materials, allow the public to properly dispose of their PET bottles. These collected bottles are then picked up by BGC authorities and sent to a recycling facility, where they are processed and reused instead of ending up in landfills.
Beyond their purpose, the chic and iconic red benches also serve as perfect spots to rest and unwind after a morning walk or a busy afternoon in the city.
These well-thought-out installations show how recycling can be seamlessly integrated into everyday routines. More than adding a pop of color amid BGC’s tall buildings and urban landscape, these features also function as accessible spaces where everyone can take small but meaningful steps toward protecting the environment.
This initiative is part of the brand’s broader efforts to reduce plastic waste and promote responsible recycling.
