Most of us go on staycations to relax, enjoy doing nothing, and stay in bed all day. Others want to keep moving even on staycations, and we found a great hotel for that purpose.
VS Hotel is conveniently located along EDSA in the Kamuning area. Even if you regularly pass by this area, you might not even be familiar with this hotel because it’s in the same building as the Victoria Sports Center. However, if you’re attentive, you’ll definitely see the hotel signage with directions to their huge parking spaces.
Whether you’re commuting to the hotel or bringing a car, getting to VS Hotel is hassle-free.
The lobby is located on the 9th floor of the tower, and it’s like being transported to a completely different place.
VS Hotel’s lobby is probably one of the most iconic hotel lobbies I’ve seen. It’s heavily inspired by Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bataan (VS Hotel’s sister resort), so there’s a vintage and moody vibe to it.
You can spend quite some time admiring the intriguing works of art in the lobby. On one wall, there’s a massive wooden art inspired by an old Philippine banknote. On other walls are old photos, murals, and interesting sculptures you can admire.

VS Hotel Rooms
There are 6 room types at VS Hotel, great for couples, families, and even barkadas looking for a weekend escape.
We got to stay at their Suite which is their biggest room. We were awestruck at how massive and spacious this particular room was.
Inside, there’s a six-seater dining table, a study table, two lounge areas with spacious couches, two smart TVs, a mini fridge, a king-sized bed, and a spacious en-suite bathroom with two vanity sinks, a bathtub, and a separate shower and toilet.
This is a great room for huge families or friend groups who actually want to hang out inside their rooms.
For couples, the Premier Queen Room, Standard Queen, and Standard Junior may be a great option. These rooms have all the essentials—a queen bed, a smart TV, a bathroom, and a mini fridge with coffee-making facilities. The main difference of these rooms is the size, so it would boil down to your preference for your staycation.
If you’re staying with family or friends, the King Room is a good option especially since there are couches and more than enough space to add extra beds. Plus, there’s a bathtub in the massive bathroom.
The Family Room, on the other hand, offers a two bedrooms adjacent to each other as well as two separate bathrooms. These rooms are also spacious enough to add extra beds if needed. This is a great option for those who want privacy.
The Sports Complex and Amenities at VS Hotel
The amenities at VS Hotel are a wonderland for athletes, sports fans, fitness gurus, and anyone who loves staying active.
Hotel guests have access to the tower’s main gym which is probably one of the biggest gyms I’ve seen in the city. Gym equipment and space are abundant, so you can easily get into your workout routine any time of the day.
There are even multiple studios and a boxing ring in the gym.
While the main gym has more than enough space for everyone, there are private gyms available to rent. These private gyms have their own equipment, shower rooms, hot tubs, and even mini theaters! It’s a great place to hang out with your fellow gym buddies, work out with your significant other, or even have a unique “gym party” for a special occasion.
Going up one floor, you’ll find the water spa and lap pool.
The relaxing water spa has a variety of hydrotherapy spots, including a foot spa! There’s also a sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi for you to enjoy—though these may have additional fees, it’s still worth the try.
If you like swimming as your workout, you’ll enjoy their lap pool which is the length of an Olympic-sized pool. It even has a view of the city as a bonus.
On the same floor, studios are also available to rent for classes such as dance, jiu-jitsu, fencing, and more. You can also rent out their private basketball court—a favorite of many celebrities.
Going up another floor, you’ll find more courts to rent out. There’s another basketball court that features gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows, bringing in an abundance of sunshine during your games.
There are also multiple badminton and tennis courts, plus a soon-to-open climbing wall. You can pretty much go crazy and try all these sports in the same building as VS Hotel!
And if you’re planning to unwind with your teammates after your games, you can head straight to the VS Sports Bar for signature cocktails, bar chow, and live music. You can also spend the night playing a few games of billiards and darts.
