When the trailer for ‘The New Mutants’ dropped earlier this year, we already knew that we were in for a different kind of comic book movie. Director Josh Boone had said that it is going to be a distinct ‘rubber-reality’ supernatural horror movie and we were incredibly excited to learn more about what that entailed.
Well, after the fourth delay of the movie (most recently due to COVID-19), we are finally getting an awesome glimpse at the film’s new villain – and we are LOVING it!!!
Seen in the photos below is one of the Smiley Men that seem to have come to life through Dani Moonstar’s ability to give physical form to people’s worst fears. I didn’t even know I had this fear before, but I do now. Just look:

‘The New Mutants’ was last set to show in cinemas on April 3, 2020. As of writing, there is no new release date yet… which is sad because I really, really, really, REALLY want to watch this now!
