When and how did Versa World start?
Versa World held its first fashion show on August 10 of this year, born out of a shared vision to create a platform that supports and showcases emerging local designers and brands in the Philippines. The idea was conceived by the founder of Versa, who, together with her sister, decided to combine their efforts and passion for fashion to bring Versa World to life.

What is the goal of Versa World?
The goal is to host fashion shows that bring together local designers and brands while providing opportunities for models to gain runway experience. Beyond showcasing local talent, the initiative also aims to reach an international audience, fostering greater appreciation and exposure for Philippine fashion on a global stage.
In launching Versa World, what are your aspirations for this project?
Versa World aspires to collaborate with and showcase emerging fashion designers who possess distinctive and innovative visions. The goal is to participate in fashion shows annually, with hopes of expanding to international platforms. Through these efforts, Versa World seeks to highlight the creativity and talent of Filipino designers and establish itself as a globally recognized name in fashion.

The inaugural fashion show was held at Hilton Manila on August 10, featuring three emerging designers in collaboration with clothing brand Versa. The showcase celebrated the elegance of Toile de Jouy, creatively blended with each designer’s unique signature style.

The second fashion show took place on October 5 at The Manila Hotel, featuring Atelier Beati and Heleyna Bridal. Centered around a celestial theme, the event titled “Runway to the Stars” celebrated imaginative design and artistic interpretation within a star-inspired concept.
