Veronica Taylor, the voice of Ash Ketchum in Pokémon, and Jason Paige, the singer of the Pokémon theme song, are currently in Manila.
The two are the honored guests of Pokéverse, a three-day Pokémon-themed expo, proudly made by fans for fans.
At the event, fans can expect collectibles, trainer quests, daily cosplay contests, tournaments, and live performances.
Pokéverse will be held from May 31 to June 2, 2024, at the Megatrade Hall, SM Megamall.

Legendary
Taylor has voiced Ash Ketchum in the first eight seasons of the English-language adaptation of Pokémon.
She has also dubbed the voice of Ash’s mom Delia.
Besides voicing the mother-son duo in Pokémon, Taylor has also done dubbing work for Amelia Wil Tesla Seyruun from Slayers, Sailor Pluto from Sailor Moon and Sailor Moon Crystal, Nico Robin in the 4Kids dub of One Piece, and April O’Neil in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Paige, meanwhile, is a singer known for performing the theme song of Pokémon.
He has also lent his vocals to Michael Jackson’s song “Black or White” when it was performed at the King of Pop’s 30th anniversary concert, and movies and TV shows like Sausage Party, Rick And Morty, and Phineas & Ferb.
