The news first broke out through Us Weekly, where an exclusive source allegedly confirmed the breakup.
“Vanessa and Austin are officially broken up, and Vanessa has been telling those close to her about their breakup,” the source tells Us Weekly.

The couple was known in the interwebs for their sweet public displays of affection either on the red carpet or on social media. Hudgens never shied away from posting lovely captions and messages about Butler.

Speculations about their breakup first started when it appeared that they didn’t spend last year’s holidays together, and Butler was absent in Hudgens’ well-documented holiday trip in Switzerland.
