This November 2025, the University of the Philippines – Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (UP JPIA) returns with the 23rd installment of the Accountancy Students’ Seminar and Extra-Curricular Training (ASSET 2025), the premier accounting summit for aspiring CPAs. With the theme “Light the Path: F.L.A.R.E. as an ASSET,” this year’s event aims to equip the nation’s top accountancy students with the skills, insights, and confidence to thrive in the profession. ASSET 2025 is open to all students in the Philippines who are within the last two years of their accounting courses.

November 8 and 9 marked the online portion of ASSET 2025. Day 1 featured the Interview Simulation, where company representatives assessed delegates’ job readiness and prepared them for real-world applications. Day 2 continued with the Accounting Quiz Bee, a test of teamwork and technical mastery. Both days also included Corporate Talks and Mini Talks, exploring topics such as post-graduation life, career growth, and corporate culture.

From November 15 to 17, delegates will gather onsite at UP Diliman for hands-on activities and networking events. Day 3 opens with the Mock Boards, giving participants a glimpse into the CPA Licensure Exams. Day 4 highlights the Case Workshop and Competition, where students analyze and solve real-world business scenarios. Evenings will feature Dinner Mixers to foster interaction between students and corporate partners. Finally, the Corporate Tour on the last day will immerse delegates in professional workplaces, offering firsthand insights into the accounting industry.

ASSET 2025 serves as a beacon for the next generation of accountants—bridging academia and industry while inspiring excellence, leadership, and passion for service.
