Located on the border of Tagaytay and Alfonso, Cavite, this restaurant definitely offers a more peaceful and relaxing food experience than the usual Tagaytay spots you’re familiar with.

Girasol actually means “sunflower”, and so they aim to add sunshine and happiness to every aspect of your visit.

Their interiors feature huge glass walls that let in lots of bright light, also allowing you to enjoy nature while you eat. We just love how their space gives off a bright and chill vibe with such sophistication.

The Filipino-Continental Menu

Girasol takes pride in offering mouthwatering Filipino dishes with their own twist. Their massive menu is definitely the restaurant’s highlight. They’ve got a variety of classic Filipino dishes, and some of the must-tries are the Boneless Crispy Pata and their Garlic Soy Pata.

The Garlic Soy Pata is their take on the classic crispy pata. It features a delicious homemade marinade that makes the meat so flavorful and tender. They say that it’s not as crunch as the regular crispy pata, but it actually is! This dish is definitely one of our instant favorites.

The Boneless Crispy Pata, on the other hand, is the more traditional dish but it’s made easier to devour thanks to the boneless feature. More meat and more to eat!

Their Beef Kare-Kare is also a highlight. You’ll definitely enjoy their rich and creamy homemade peanut sauce with the beef that’s so tender.

If you’re not up for a heavy meal, they also have delicious pasta and pizza that will keep you filled ‘til your next meal. Some must-tries are their Quattro Formaggi, which is a four-cheese pizza that’s a lot more flavorful than the other pizzas I’ve tried; and their White Truffle Pasta which is so creamy and tasty.

In Tagaytay a lot earlier? Their breakfast menu also offers a lot of great and tasty ways to start your day.

They’ve got the classic Beef Tapa that’s savory and so filling. You can also try their delicious Longganisa meal that features gourmet longganisa from Imus, Cavite!

If you’re looking for seafood, they also offer their must-try Milkfish Confit in Olive Oil which features a boneless bangus confit steeped in aromatic olive oil with tasty herbs and spices. This is definitely a special breakfast meal that will instantly make your day.

Event Spaces and a Private Wine Cellar

Girasol Tagaytay also offers beautiful spaces that would be perfect for intimate celebrations such as weddings or birthdays.

The main restaurant, The Great Room, which has an elegant interior and bright natural light, has already been used for many intimate weddings. You may also opt to include the mezzanine on the second floor to accommodate more people.

If you’re interested in a more private and even more intimate setting, they also have a stylish wine cellar just underneath the restaurant!

The Cellar can accommodate up to 30 people, and they can even provide a screen if needed for business meetings or small celebrations. The elegant space can be booked for private dinners which would be great to enjoy along with their artisanal wines.

They only have five spacious rooms all in all, so if you’re planning an upcoming family reunion or team building, this would be a great option. All of their rooms are massive, with most of their rooms being able to accommodate up to five people. They’ve got a loft-style room that’s perfect for traveling families.

The real highlight of their bed & breakfast is their Sunflower Suite which is located on the top floor of the establishment. It’s the only room on the floor, so you can really count on having a whole lot of privacy.

The suite features a luxurious king-sized bed, a spacious balcony, and a gorgeous bathroom that offers an uninterrupted view of the land. Yes, you can enjoy a beautiful real-life view from your bathroom. But don’t worry, the glass windows are frosted halfway so you can still have your privacy.
