This Mine Painted Its Rocks Green to Pass Environmental Inspection

A mine might be the last thing you would associate with going green but this Changsheng Rock Material Factory in Xintai, China proved otherwise. But before you rejoice, take note that they LITERALLY became green in order to fool environmental authorities. The workers of the factory spray painted the rocks green in order to disguise them as trees. From afar, some people might think that the mine is filled with greenery. Fortunately, the plan was unsuccessful and authorities suspended their operations. Let’s just hope that the authorities will track down other companies that are making environmental offenses.
