This hospital gave free haircuts to doctors and employees during the coronavirus pandemic. Here’s why it’s important…

The Medical City is giving free basic haircuts to COVID-19 frontliners until tomorrow, April 24. Doctors, as well as direct and outsourced employees, may walk in and register at the Pasig City hospital’s Wellness Veranda from 7 AM to 4 PM on a first-come, first-served basis.

Dra. Panes also told us the importance of getting a haircut during the pandemic. She says, “as a frontliner, specifically an Obstetrics and Gynecology resident in training, wherein our hair should always and is expectedly be kept within the surgical cap, the 4-week long hiatus from the hairdresser made my tresses longer and at times would protrude out of the surgical cap.”

She adds, “I am indebted to The Medical City Human Resource Department for bringing in a hairdresser to manage this seemingly trivial hair problem.”
