James Gunn, writer and director of The Suicide Squad, revealed the full cast list for the upcoming DC feature. It featured a surprisingly long list of new cast members, and fans are already busy theorizing what roles they could possibly be taking on.

Obviously reprising their roles are Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, and Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang. Rumors place Idris Elba as either replacing Will Smith’s Deathshot or taking on the new role of Deathstroke. John Cena may be playing Peacemaker, with David Dastmalchian as Polkadot Man. Daniela Melchior will possibly be Ratcatcher.
Other cast members include Joaquin Cosio, Nathan Fillion, Mayling Ng, Flula Borg, Sean Gunn, Juan Diego Botto, Storm Reid, Pete Davidson, Taika Waititi, Alice Braga, Steve Agee, Tinashe Kajese, Peter Capaldi, Julio Ruiz, Jennifer Holland, and Michael Rooker.
The cast list was posted on Gunn’s Instagram account along with the caption: “Don’t get too attached.” These ominous words have many guessing that one or two (or three or four or more) characters could be getting the boot this time around.
