Marvel is on a roll. Apart from the blockbuster films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the franchise has also tapped TV, coming up with shows that are also part of the Universe. We’re all looking forward to the crossover series The Defenders, which combines the shows Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. It’s coming out this August, and in a month, the next MCU series is coming out!
The show is called Inhumans, and follows the Inhuman Royal Family, which rules over the superhuman race. They escape to Hawaii after a military coup, and they attempt to save themselves and the world.

The teaser trailer doesn’t reveal any images, but the voiceover is enough to set the tone of the series. The clip features a potential family betrayal and treason to achieve freedom.
The Royal Family is composed of the king Black Bolt, and Medusa, Karnak, Gorgon, Triton, Crystal, Maximus the Mad, and the canine Lockjaw. They will be portrayed by Anson Mount, Serinda Swan, Iwan Rheon, Ken Leung, Eme Ikwuakor, Isabelle Cornish, Mike Moh, and Sonya Balmores.
Inhumans is set to premiere on IMAX screens on September 1, followed by the release of the episodes on ABC starting September 26.
