The Black Phone: Ethan Hawke’s Most Thrilling Horror Film Yet

The Black Phone is a solid, spooky film that is unnerving and spine-tingling, thanks to its powerful cast who did a great job of scaring the viewers in so many ways.

After the cult hit “Sinister,” Director Scott Derrickson and Ethan Hawke‘s tandem was once again successful. In our opinion, Hawke portrayed the lead role SO WELL, with his masked face keeping us up all night until now.

This time, he’s “The Grabber,” a part-time magician who uses his black van and balloons to entice kids and snatch them on the street, keeping them in a basement and killing them.

Hawke’s character is definitely creepy even behind alternating masks. His laughs and threats gave us major scary vibes that kept us at the edge of our seats.

The young casts did not disappoint too! Mason Thames and Madeleine McGraw portrayed siblings Finney and Gwen, whom you can’t help but root for until the end. #SiblingGoals indeed!
