Taxi Driver Allegedly Runs Over Pedestrian in Hit and Run
The streets of the city are getting more and more dangerous. From modus operandis to downright brutal attacks, it’s getting more difficult to protect yourselves from harm.
A netizen recently posted about this horrific story he and his companions witnessed. According to the post, a taxi ran over a pedestrian, leaving him dead as he sped off.
On his Facebook post dated February 2, Jam Melchor and his companions saw the incident happen around midnight along Shaw Boulevard. This is what it said:
At around 12am – 1230am today we took this RMQ TAXI on our way to Makati with plate number UVY 582 who mercilessly ran over a pedestrian and left him DEAD somewhere along SHAW BLVD. The guy helplessly smashed to our windshield leaving it severly damaged and this crazy driver sped off & counterflowed the other lane that nearly caused us to hit other vehicles. Took some photos of the taxi and left me wondering why is the plate number painted inside the cab different from the plate number outside. I hope this post will reach the authorities and give justice to what happened to that poor guy. RMQ TAXI 582 — BEWARE OF THIS CAB! PLEASE HELP ME SHARE THIS POST!
