An exciting virtual event awaits St. Luke’s latest batch of medical students this July 29 and 30.
A week from now, St. Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine – William H. Quasha Memorial (SLCM) will once again open its doors to this year’s freshmen who will grace its hallways soon.
Hosted by Batch 2025, the Freshmen Orientation Program 2021: Taralets! will be filled with activities to shine light on everything a medical student needs to know at SLCM before starting their journey toward that MD.
This year’s orientation will carry the theme Y2K Finds: The Start of a New Era. Just like how the year 2000 symbolizes the new millennium, this jam-packed event filled with thrilling games and performances seeks to mark the start of a new era for the incoming medical students.
Taralets! is also an avenue for this year’s freshmen to get to know and be acquainted with the Lukan life. An Org Fair, meanwhile, will also feature some organizations of SLCM that have prepared unique activities for the incoming students. This will introduce the different sociocultural organizations SLCM have and the different committees of the Student Council for those interested.
