REPUBLIC Fencing and Sports Club Inc. is pleased to announce its inaugural tournament on October 25, 2015 at Philsports Arena in Pasig.
“Our aim in staging this tournament is to bring the fencing community together to compete in the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie that defines this sport”, says Nick Galan, Co-founder of Republic Fencing and Sport Club Inc.
Fencers from around the Philippines will attend, and international clubs and groups have also been invited.
“The Duellists 1st Open Tournament,” also supported by the Philippine Fencing Association, stakes 56 medals in 14 events. Over 20 fencing teams have already registered.
