Currently ranked No. 77 in the latest WTA rankings, Alex is hopeful for a win following recent losses to Linda Fruhvirtova at the Birmingham Open, Emiliana Arango in her Grand Slam main draw debut at Roland Garros, and Marta Kostyuk at the Internazionali BNL d’Italia.
Meanwhile, Lizette is a 27-year-old full-blooded Filipina born in Townsville, Australia. With over eight years of professional tennis experience, she is currently ranked No. 206 in the WTA rankings.

The 20-year-old tennis sensation is now competing in her second grass-court tournament of the 2025 season. However, this won’t be the first time the two will share the same court.
In 2022, they teamed up at the International Tennis Federation’s W25 Corroios-Seixal in Portugal. At the time, Alex was only 15 years old and just beginning to make waves on the international tennis scene.
For those who missed out, Alex Eala made headlines in March 2025 after her remarkable run at the Miami Open.
During her historic Miami Open stint, she was able to win three consecutive times. She first defeated Jelena Ostapenko, Madison Keys, and Iga Swiatek.
