Medusa, the first true supper club in the Philippines, is now open at The Palace Manila in Uptown Bonifacio, BGC. A unique concept that blends dinner and nightlife in one space, Medusa offers a seamless transition from curated dining to high-energy late nights. Set apart by its dedicated street-facing façade and private driveway, Medusa is a stand-alone destination within the complex.

Inside, the design draws from Art Deco influences with tropical details, creating a space that feels both bold and intimate. At its core, a supper club brings together good food, great cocktails, in a social atmosphere, and Medusa delivers just that. The menu features reimagined comfort and bistro dishes, designed to pair with an equally thoughtful cocktail and bottle service program.

Whether you’re in for supper, drinks, or the full night out, Medusa was built for evenings that unfold naturally and end as late as you want.

Medusa offers a variety of seating options that cater to every kind of evening, whether intimate or social. The venue has a total capacity of approximately 220 guests, with 170 in the main room and 50 in the alfresco area. It also features a private dining room that seats 12 guests and two semi-private rooms that each accommodate up to 9, ideal for hosting clients or celebrating special occasions.

At the heart of the space is a striking central oval bar, the perfect spot to sip signature cocktails while taking in the energy of the room. Complementing this are a dedicated welcome bar that sets the tone upon arrival, and a smaller lounge bar tucked away before the main room, a cozy space for quiet conversation or stepping back without stepping out.

A Culinary Vision by Global Talents

At the helm of Medusa’s culinary program are Chefs Lisa Revilla, David Thien Chow Kang, and Ruther Sandico—a trio whose combined experience spans Michelin-starred kitchens and celebrated restaurants across the globe.

Chef Lisa Revilla, a Filipina talent, trained under Daniel Boulud and Wolfgang Puck before leading as Executive Chef at The Dempsey Cookhouse by Jean-Georges in Singapore. Her cooking blends refined technique with creative soul, bringing bold yet thoughtful flavors to the table.

Chef David Thien, born in Bordeaux and trained in some of France’s top kitchens—including Cordeillan Bages and L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon—brings a multicultural perspective rooted in classical French training and global finesse. He eventually served as Executive Chef of Corner House in Singapore, where he further honed his precision and style.

Chef Ruther Sandico rounds out the team with a strong international background. He was Executive Chef of the Bistronomia Group and part of the pre-opening team at Skye, The Park Lane Hong Kong, under Chef Lee Adams. His career includes time at Rhodes W1 in Grosvenor House Dubai and the opening team of Nobu Hotel Manila.

Together, they bring technical skill, creativity, and deep global perspective to Medusa’s menu—anchored in elevated European comfort classics, designed to pair seamlessly with fine wines, cocktails, and premium spirits.

Design that Moves with the Night

Medusa breaks away from conventional nightlife design, placing equal focus on form, function, and atmosphere.

Drawing from Art Deco influences with tropical accents, the space strikes a balance between boldness and intimacy. From the moment guests enter, the architecture guides the flow of the evening—through thoughtful lighting, spatial rhythm, and layered textures. Deep-toned velvets, high-gloss lacquer, marble, mirrored surfaces, and patinated brass define the palette, while programmable lighting shifts the mood throughout the night. At the center, a sculptural oval bar anchors the space. Collaborations with Filipino artists and fabricators add local depth, with custom furniture and hand-painted murals enhancing the narrative. Every detail is intentional, designed to create an experience that’s immersive, fluid, and memorable.

Medusa shows that great design in hospitality isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s about creating experiences that are felt as much as they are seen.
